Service Description

This service is used to determine if a household member has lice and whether treatment is required. We recommend booking a head check for each person in the household that may have been exposed to someone with lice. Head checks typically take 15 minutes or less. Just like our treatments, head checks are safe, thorough and effective. All in-home visits are $120 minimum plus travel fee. If you do not have confirmed cases of lice and only require head checks, the minimum charge will apply and will cover up to 4 head checks. Booking Online? Be sure to book an additional treatment for each person in your household that may have lice and add a head check for each household member that may have been exposed. Once your booking has been made, a member of the Lice Out team will contact you to confirm your booking, treatment details and to answer any questions you may have. Your follow-up appointment will be booked with your Lice Out technician following your treatment. Follow up treatment is required for complete treatment and guarantee. Additional Fees: A flat-rate $25 travel fee will be charged to each visit. Parking fees will be transferred to the customer where applicable. We service the Ottawa, Kanata, Nepean, Gloucester, Orleans, Cumberland area. Additional travel fees may apply for customers outside of our typical service area. All services are billed on an hourly basis, rounded to the nearest ¼ hour. Clients are responsible for ensuring that appointments proceed in a timely and uninterrupted manner. Any unnecessary delays, interruptions, or extensions caused by the client may result in additional charges billed at the standard hourly rate. Our team is trained to be diligent and thorough, ensuring both the shortest possible treatment time and a guaranteed lice free result. For the safety and well-being of all clients, a parent or legal guardian must be present at all times during the treatment of any minor.
